Sammanfattning
This annual report provides an overview of what and how Sida evaluates. The report summarises the evaluation year 2025 at Sida with regard to the three main types of evaluations – central, decentralised and partner-led evaluations. A number of central evaluations concluded in 2025, which provided evidence for support and decision making for future strategies and contributions. The report also presents the actions taken by the Evaluation team to strengthen the independence of Sida’s evaluation function, the language quality of publications, and to study the long-term effects of Sida’s support in line with the government’s request to strengthen evidence based decision making.
