The DAC Recommendation on the HDP nexus (hereafter DAC Recommendation), which was adopted in 2019 as one of DAC’s legal instruments, states that peacebuilding and conflict prevention are key elements of international engagement in fragile, conflict and crisis affected contexts. Sida’s guidance note on the HDP nexus is aligned with both.
