Development Economics Briefs

Sida's Development Economics Briefs series covers recent trends and global phenomena, and relate these trends to our work at Sida.

Analysis of important development challenges

Development Economics Briefs are produced by Sida's Chief Economist Team once or twice a year on important development challenges related to Sida's work. They aim to explain and analyse important topics and make them relevant for Sida's work, to stimulate further analysis and discussion.

Consolidated data tailored for Sida's needs

The briefs are based on some of the most important reports, sources and data out there but in a consolidated format of about ten pages – with an effort to tailor the knowledge for Sida's needs. They include country data for Sida's partner countries, which makes it possible to benchmark the development of different countries in specific areas.

Briefs

Topics covered include income inequality, financing for development and multi-dimensional poverty.
