Summary

The main conclusions of the evaluation of the project were that: The objectives of MEDRC and the project are relevant but highlydependent on the external context and the overall peace process. The project has promoted gender equality at activity level butoutcomes have been more challenging to monitor and achieve. The project potentially contributed to improving technical cooperationthrough increasing readiness and confidence. Although the capacity development was appreciated and has become more efficient,it is still fragmented and not well enough linked to other processes. Achievement of the overall objectives will require continuoussupport.
