United Nations Regional Centre for Peace, Disarmament and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean (UN-LiREC)

This is the first evaluation that Sida carries out on the collaboration with UN-LIREC (since 1999) UN-LIREC. Its main purpose is to provide recommendations to consolidate progress and to ensure the achievement of UN-LiREC and to give suggestions for any necessary changes in the overall design and orientation, and make recommendations on its work plan. It gives emphasis on the quality of UN-LiREC's work and examine the reliability and relevance and aspects of impact: main inputs, major outputs; and problems and concerns identified by Sida, previous evaluations and stakeholders. The evaluation does not include a financial audit.
