The TASO Experiential Attachment to Combat HIV/AIDS Project (TEACH)

TASO is Uganda's largest national HIV & AIDS organisation. It was established in 1989 and covers all aspects of HIV prevention, treatment, care and support. The TASO Experiential Attachment to combat HIV/AIDS is a Sida funded project. It provides month long internships for staff from HIV & AIDS organisations in the sub-Saharan region to improve their skills and capacity through hands-on training at a TASO centre. During the period 2005 - 2008 almost 500 trainees benefited from the scheme.
