Summary
The Philippines has participated actively in the Sida sponsored training programmes. More than 600 persons have taken part in one or more of the 60 different programmes. There has been a concentration of participants in the fields of environmental management, energy and industry. Many participants came from private firms, but the majority were based in the public sector.
