Strategy for Development Cooperation - Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

This strategy is based on recommendations emerging from several UN conferences during the 1990's, on Sweden's experience nationally and internationally, and on Sida's overarching development strategies. The strategy covers the following issues: Human rights and gender equality, maternal health and newborn care, fertility regulation, abortion, hiv/aids and other sexually transmitted diseases (STD), adolescent health, female genital mutilation (FGM), discrimination, violence and abuse.
