Sida-funded Projects through UNICEF - Bolivia, 1989-2002

Sweden has been one of the most importan donors to the implementation of UNICEF programmes in Bolivia. The support has been focused on three projects: the Bilingual Education project, the Health Education Project, and PROANDES (Social Development Programme). This evaluation have been carried out in september - december 2002. The main purpose of this study was to asses the poverty reduction impact and likely sustainability of the social development program. The evaluation have been carried out with a gender- perspective as well as a poverty- perspective and with the participation of the target group in the evaluation.
