In 2001 Sida entered into an agreement with UNICEF to support the Mekong Partnership Program and Beyond (MPB). This is a regional program in support of HIV/AIDS work for youth, children and their families in Southeast Asia. The agreement focuses on the following countries in the Mekong sub-region: Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, China (Yunnan province), Laos and Vietnam.
