Summary
The report is the result of a satellite seminar held by Sida at the 13th International Conference on AIDS and STDs in Africa (ICASA) 2003. Entitled Research - Policy - Implementation: the Challenging Links, the theme took up the need for closer collaboration between researchers, policy-makers and practitioners in combating the pandemic. A panel of senior experts working in Africa debated on these "challenging links", followed by a floor discussion. The booklet covers the presentations and discussions, followed by an afterword.
