African Universities Responding to HIV/AIDS

Despite weaknesses in some areas, the project is on course to achieve its six (6) objectives: HIV/AIDS leadership promotion, capacity and curriculum development, HIV/AIDS workplace policy development, documentation of good practices, regional network development, and partnerships' development. On the negative side: (i) progress in HIV/AIDS curriculum development by member Universities has been limited, and (ii) the uptake of student grants has been slow, partly attributable to the small amount of the grant.
