A Leap of Faith. A story of Swedish aid and paper production in Vietnam - the Bai Bang project, 1969-1996.

The main task of the study was to document and analyse decision-making processes forming the project over time. Secondly, the study also reflects on general lessons from this history of relevance for the general debate on aid. The idea of a paper mill emerged from the Swedish political solidarity with North Vietnam during the Vietnam War, and was approved must against the technical advice of SIDA.
