Slutsatsen är att Sidas stöd på ett avgörande sätt bidragit till att organisationerna utvecklats till väl ansedda och relevant miljöorganisationer. CSE och Toxics Link har påverkat miljön och miljöfrågornas utveckling i Indien och rapporten presenterar flera exempel på konkreta resultat av organisationernas arbete. De viktigaste faktorerna bakom CSE och Toxics Link's framgångar är att de lyckats kombinera aktivism med effektiv opinionsbildning baserad på forskning samt att de bidrar med väl utvecklade och konkreta förslag till miljöförbättringar.
