Utvärderingen konstaterar att CSUDP har utfört sin verksamhet \"tillfredsställande\" inför befintliga och framtida utmaningar i den urbana sektorn i Kenya. En flexibel design får projektet att anpassa sig till en snabbt föränderlig miljö medan en innovativ tillvägagångssätt som en dynamisk ram som passade bra med det paradigmskifte i Kenyas urbana styre. Etablering av lokala Urban Forum (LUFs) som lokala plattformar för dialog i kommunerna, exempelvis var en kreativ nyhet som tillät projektet avsikt att nå de fattiga i städerna. Projektet etablerade starka arbetspartnerskap med olika intressenter i regeringen, den privata sektorn, den akademiska världen och det civila samhället som leder till förbättrad samordning i sektorn. Detta tillät CSUDP att effektivt påverka olika politiska och rättsliga processer, inklusive National Urban utvecklingspolitik (NUDP), de tätorter och städer, vräkningar och förflyttningar Bill och National Slum Uppgradering policy. Dessutom har projektet visat ett antal framgångsrika servicemodeller, av vilka några har integrerats i genomförandet utformningen av nationella program, såsom Kenya informella bosättningar Improvement Project (KISIP), medan andra visar bra löfte för att trappa upp. Detta har gett projektet en kant i hållbarhet.
